ZYRA - Vendor risk intelligence

ZYRA is a vendor risk intelligence tool I built to pull scattered vendor information into one clear view. Instead of starting every risk assessment from a blank page, ZYRA gathers the signal that already exists and turns it into something a team can actually act on, so decisions about vendors start from evidence, not guesswork.

The Problem

Assessing vendor risk usually means chasing information across a dozen places and assembling it by hand, every single time. It's slow, inconsistent, and easy to do badly under time pressure. The insight is usually sitting there in scattered form; the hard part is pulling it together into a decision.

What I Built

ZYRA, a tool that collects fragmented vendor information and organizes it into a single, usable risk picture. It replaces the blank-page problem with a starting point: here's what we know, here's what matters, here's where to look closer.

How It Works

Built with React and the Claude API. The AI does the synthesis, taking messy, scattered inputs and turning them into structured, prioritized intelligence, the kind of work that's tedious and error-prone by hand but fast and consistent when a system does it.

Outcome

ZYRA moved beyond my own workstream and became something multiple teams on the engagement leaned on for vendor decisions. It made those decisions start from evidence instead of a blank document. It's part of a pattern in my work: find the repetitive, judgment-heavy task a team keeps doing manually, and build the system that does the first 80% so people can focus on the call that actually needs a human.

Closing Thoughts

ZYRA and ARIA share the same DNA. Both started as operational problems I lived with, and both became tools because I'd rather build the fix than live with the friction.
